A friend of mine is on holiday in Italy and sending about fifty photos a day, of everything from architecture to hotel rooms to food, to basically her entire WhatsApp contact list (I have muted her, it was driving me nuts). This was a particularly unfortunate juxtaposition when I came to my daily check of what she’s been up to.
