For research, I'd like to know about experiences where people has their phone searched or requested by police. How did this go? What did they do? Did they ask you to voluntarily give your phone? Did you pre-wipe your phone? Did you also give your SIM-card? Did you try to find out if malware was installed afterwards? If so, how? Did you lookup relevant laws? Did they have a warrant?
