@bjorndown@mastodon.social @pikesley@mastodon.me.uk the statement weirdly assumes that there's a consensus that the last twenty years of business transformations have been good!?
I remember being able to book a cab in advance and have it turn up. I remember parcels getting delivered and not just crushed boxes dumped on a door step by over-worked delivery drivers. DVD extras.
Show me a "disruption" that worked out well?

@tmcfarlane@toot.community @pikesley@mastodon.me.uk Indeed. To be fair I consider "transformation" to be value-neutral. There surely was a lot of transforming going on and lots of software was written. Not sure if the two are related and even less sure that any of it improved our lifes. But If your main goal is "economic activity", e.g. billing hours, then that it has been great.
