@nusher@mastodon.scot Your point is really understandable and helpful, thank you BTW, during this stage, how can we best manage the plants to balance getting bigger potatoes while still protecting them from pests or damage in the soil?

@econetwork@mas.to I think a lot of it is banking up soil to cover from sunlight. The way they appear to have been planted helps too, as they are not too close together. Sorry I can’t advise any more, it does depend on your soil and your weather.
