@econetwork@mas.to I definitely agree with you! These are tough questions for a lot of people, but it would need to be an entire change of heart in the West. With the growing population of the world, and less land available for individual farming, it's going to be a necessity in the near future of humanity. The world needs to change, and throw off the shackles of the Capitalist ideal, and live cooperatively, or I fear that we human beings are going to have a really dark, and scary time.

    @csgraves@turtleisland.social BTW, for us buying land was once just a dream, and now it is becoming reality. We are still renovating it, which may take a long time, but our goal is to share gardening knowledge and what we harvest with the community. Yes, in Uganda there is still enough land, but most of it is owned by wealthy people who do not easily share it with others. Maybe that is also part of capitalism, right?
