🧵 5/more So who are these three spies? They were not under diplomatic cover. As @mattblaze@federate.social pointed out to me, unlike diplomats technical/administrative staff enjoy only limited immunity. This is why their immunity could have been suspended. These personae non gratae were all from the SVR who run these #SIGINT stations, most likely the Vienna executive amongst them. https://wien.orf.at/stories/3352548/
