The car can also operate autonomously, put it in D and let go. It only requires occasional corrections when on non-ideal road conditions (turns)

@Gulfie@yiff.life There was about a 20 year span in my coming of age years where despite being one of the curviest and steepest freeways in the world, its sheer traffic count and the fact it ended with a center-lane exit and an interchange onto a more congested freeway downtown made the eastbound (downhill, inbound to downtown) lanes *extremely* rutted. Like "let go of the steering wheel, guided-busways rarely work this well" level of "will steer for you".
