I am having the absolute time of my life at #ICMS2026 & it's only the first day it is my first time ever in a humanities space and the research culture is SO DIFFERENT. so many people did not have slideshows! just up there talking! i've never experience that! also, so many independent scholars (as in not affiliated with an institution) should i like.....try humanisitic inquiry also I'm only going to the program dedicated to #Tolkien and that has been indescribable: https://icms.confex.com/icms/2026/meetingapp.cgi/Index/SponsorList~Tolkien%20at%20Kalamazoo
