@fisk@little.tinypuppy.dog I actually wrote exactly this 10 years ago and despite how bad I think the cyber-nihilism thing was I also was predicting the future right out of the gate

@nyx@social.xenofem.me @fisk@little.tinypuppy.dog we depend on the internet as medium for communication (which means more than just speech), so much so that it is an essential part of our lives. yet, people allow the big tech sector to dictate virtually all of it and LLMs are in practice, directly and indirectly, signal jamming our communication at best, incredibly effective tools for repression and manipulation at worst. they slowly worm their way into our everyday lives and increase social atomization while prestending to be its cure. they're, just like everything else that came out of big tech ever since we got smartphones, made of pure hitlerite.
