Honestly, I think the whole concept of “gender” is dumb. It’s a symptom of people desperately trying to quantify other people based on a super vague set of ever shifting definitions across an ever shifting range. We would have been much better off if we continued the trend of “what they call you doesn’t matter” instead of the current trend “it’s important you tell them exactly what to call you”.
