@ssamulczyk@mstdn.social But doesn't Apple just charges you flat fee for replacing the battery (which is actually a replacement of the device because they don't open the case at Apple).

@ohjames@queer.cool Apple Watch is not that easy. Also, that’s a used, 3 years old device we’ve got for Peter for like €150. He trashes things quickly, so there was no point in getting a new one just to get it destroyed…😂 Went to a 3rd party shop, they asked €120, I’ve decided I’m gonna do it myself with a battery for €25…😂 What can go wrong?🫣
