Mateusz Matysiak from the ZX Spectrum group mentioned that he had a PCB left over for an interesting project - a ZX Spectrum clone from the USSR - Leningrad-M; so why not? I'd previously assembled a replica of Przemysław Węgrzyn's Elwro 800 Junior, so after looking at the project https://alex-j-lowry.github.io/lngrad-m.html, I was intrigued to see that there wasn't an "EPROM GPU", just nearly exlusively 74LS! After a few iterations, of course it wasn't working, so starting as always with the clock generator: I had fake LS from Aliexpress! Labeled as LS but in reality HC version (meaning the T48 will show them as OK). The "fake 74LS193" won't generate an H0 signal... As before, I went to https://www.standby-shop.eu/ - thank you for still running such a hobbyist shop - after two days I replaced the 74LS74, 74LS257, and 74LS10 (those 257s looked disgustingly sanded), the 74LS193, and 194, and - IT WORKS! Thank you all, now all that's left to do is to solder the keyboard!
