@MoepMan@social.troll.academy I have two SONOFF USB-Dongles (https://sonoff.tech/de-de/products/sonoff-zigbee-thread-usb-dongle-dongle-plus-mg24), one for Zigbee, one for Thread. I didn't want any additional devices with cables, power supplies, etc., and the USB dongles have proven to be both effective and extremely compact.

@MoepMan@social.troll.academy It's still very much a mess. I built my own ESP32 OTBR which works fine but is nothing I want to have to maintain. I have a SLZB-06MU which can work as a stand alone border router and since the latest update the firmware doesn't always crash anymore. Regardless of where I put it, it always has RF problems for me. Right now I'm back to running Posix OTBR with a efr32mg21 usb stick. I'd rather like to run a product like the SLZB. Oh, and Shellys do Matter over Wifi, no Thread afaik.

@MoepMan@social.troll.academy I have a Conbee III and ... yes it works kinda but it took a looong try & error phase (but I don't think the conbee caused the issue) I used OTBR and the matter.js server addons (you need to enable "Beta mode" or something like this in the addon settings to use the new server, using that you can pair your devices directly using the addon instead of Play Services)
