The last Jedi was such a good film, holds up very well, its messages probably hitting harder today than before. I think that one of the messages was that paying fan service wouldn’t make Star Wars good, and that’s why it usurps our expectations at every single turn. It’s a shame that Disney and JJ went back on all of it. Although rise of skywalker entirely proves the point that the last Jedi was making. Now let’s all go save the things that we love. #starwars
