my partner (who's also a sci-fi reader) was surprised how quickly I made the connection when I saw the books cover and started to wonder if Betelgeuse is for number 42 😅

@pcdevil@mastodon.social Very good to hear 🙂 I’ve never seen a copy of my book in an actual bookshop (although I’ve only looked a couple of times), so it’s always nice to get pictures from people who have. Including some from New York & some from my daughter in Edinburgh. She saw it in a couple of shops there, before (cough) “rearranging” the bookshelves to make it more prominent 🤪
