@nika@typo.social I have literally zero upper body strength, but the number of things I have broken with a hammer (including a hairline fraction in one of my own fingers) is pretty astounding, considering. Should I try Robofont? In this analogy would I break all my fonts?

@Sahar@typo.social Well. I still have scars on my hands because, as a child, teen, I overestimated what a hammer, screwdriver, and so on could do, and as an adult, I broke screws because I used too much force. Robofont is very rudimentary. You know exactly what everything is for. There’s not much confusion about the functions. No info noise. I once ran a workshop with students and wondered how to show them the differences; I’m still thinking about it. So, Robofont is like a hammer and a screwdriver, Glyphs is like an electric screwdriver, and FontLab is FontLab.
