Considering writing about moving my email to mu4e, the Emacs-based mail client, which is ugly and difficult to set up and, if you aren’t happy with any other mail client, might actually be what you’re looking for in spite of yourself.

@chipotle@mstdn.social this would be much appreciated, every time I’ve looked into doing it it’s seemed overwhelming to me, which is exacerbated because I have three accounts (one iCloud and two Gmail) and several addresses across those accounts
