#SoftwareDevelopment is so dead. I've only written a handful of lines of code this year. Everything else has been vibe-coded.
Some people say you need someone with experience to steer the LLMs, and yes that is true for the moment but they get better every couple of months.
So I'm starting to think about non-digital careers. Maybe carpentry or something 😅 it was good while it lasted..

@shemjm@social.vivaldi.net I see it this way: Software development only returnes to where it started - Flowcharts and development on paper (or let it be a flowchart designer) - but the software is afterwards not implemented by a horde of code monkeys but an AI
