@neil I fixed this on my own site a couple of months ago after putting it off for years. Turns out it is pretty easy these days with a few lines added to my style sheet. The **really** cheap way of doing it is to add a CSS filter to the body element that inverts all the colors. This works but also inverts the images, which is probably not what most people want.
