hi. please email ur local mp if you're canadian. this is *very* bad. it will require backdoors in any encrypted comms. we will lose any notion of privacy

@xyhhx@438punk.house How do they square that law with the Charter of Rights? It demonstrably conflicts with #7, #8, #11 ("(c) not to be compelled to be a witness in proceedings against that person in respect of the offence;") & #13.
