oh yeah, had this one too. before a sales pitch boss was asking around for best estimates (best, you know, not real), took the one he thought to be best (shortest, by the least experienced dev, the one who was the easiest to intimidate) and halved that in the sales meeting ... later seriously complained why noone ever managed to keep to the schedules and everything always was over time ....
