@ChrisMayLA6@zirk.us Update this morning, that Rayner has now been magically cleared by the Inrland Revenue, and so is available to stand. That fairly puts a spanner in Streetings plans. Not a huge fan of Rayner, but of the three - Starmer, Streeting & Rayner, she’s the least worst option. She’s not as bought by big tech as the other two, and I don’t think she’s as involved in the Blair/Mandelson control either.

@HarriettMB@toot.wales @ChrisMayLA6@zirk.us I would also like to think that when the media inevitably tries to make capital from her inland revenue 'scandal', we could point out that if they don't have a problem with Farage's £5m "donation", they really can't complain about £40,000 (particularly now that money has been repaid). But that would require us to live in a world where it's not "one rule for you, no rules for us".
