@mgmarkel@universeodon.com Not sure how old Dilman is, he seems to be a fairly young man but from my perspective as a woman coming up on 50 I didn't find the portrayal objectionable so far. Adita is cranky and odd by neurotypical standards (and all too aware of it!) and not as physically fit as she used to be which is an inconvenience early on, but she's also energetic, active, and practical. Her husband predeceased her but she doesn't spend a whole lot of time dwelling on it, she has grown children and grandchildren, her own issues, and a looming war to think of. @writingbooks@fedigroups.social
