Perhaps I was not quite understanding what you were pointing out.

@Klepsis@indieauthors.social Oh, I meant something a little more specific in this case, as in elderly characters' memories of the past helping them kind of take the readers' part because their own world is strange to them, despite also being deeply familiar.
