Left twitch running all day and night (as is customary), one of the raid trains ended up on a big streamer. Very pretty and well rigged live2D model, so I tuned in for a little bit. Popular culture/mainstream twitch streaming is really, really gross. The focus of conversation for the 5 minutes I tuned in was entirely about getting subs. buy more subs. Wow you guys have bought a lot of subs. Buy more subs. The counter on the screen shows they're nearly at 6000 of them (this is a subathon, after all) Between talking about how people should buy more subs, get the hype train higher, the only other thing they make sure to mention is 'I love you' - so many times The hype train ends, they switch to words on stream, say that they're going to bed - 'but while I'm away, as you're lying in bed, remember I love you!' I cannot understand why there are so many people out there who enjoy this? Doesn't this give everybody else the ick? I love you!
