The more you live and learn everything is based on money, the less electrical politics make sense. At the end of the day everything is about how much money is on the table. Like internet age verification is a push by corpos not by anyone. They may grab a few misinformed people to be public facess of these laws, but this was all made up in board meeting, with a fancy powerpoint, and graphs. Like the TPM was never about security, it was about vendor lock in, EU went with a solution that supports iOS and Android, but only their proprietary APIs. The truth about age verification is likely teens will figure out, or culture will work it's way around it. it will be us the nerds, the queers who are actually effected by this, such a small margin on graph that Google did not even label it likely.
