Met two young Ukrainian women at the Alice Park Cafe yesterday. They'd stopped for a coffee before flying home. A long journey! The flight's the easiest part. Bus to Bristol Airport (not the easiest airport to get to - easier to fly there) Flight to Poland. Train to Kyiv. Final leg by local bus. Hope they got home safely. Not an empty expression when your country is a war zone not of your making. #SlavaUkrayini
