I think the next front in FOSS is figuring out how to make it financially stable. We simply aren't going to get where we are trying to go unless we can start convincing people to fund FOSS over paying for SaaS.
I honestly don't know the solution, but honestly Izzy, I think everyone that works with you being able to get paid to work full time on this stuff would be a perfectly reasonable ask.
I think the tools need to get way more accessible for that to happen though.

@theeclecticdyslexic@mstdn.social that would be our dream: to do what we're doing, provide what we're providing, without having to worry how to get food on our tables. Seeing what we've achieved as a team just in the last year – think how much we could achieve then! @andymouse@todon.eu
