I just want essentially a non android core device really. Something that some mega Corp hasn't touched whatsoever. I use a Linux KDE machine as my personal pc. I'm not opposed to a totally new OS. Just as long as it just doesn't die off like many previous projects.

@CaptainButthurt@poa.st @teto@cawfee.club That would be good to have, but sadly it's not anywhere on the horizon with how fucked the hardware on phones is. There are entire product lines (die, Mediatek chinks, die) that don't have any viable ports because there are no device trees or drivers for them.
