And here I was thinking that the main wealth growing avenues people had (young, old, whoever) was working and producing goods and services for other people.

At the risk of offending someone... The people opposed to the CGT changes are the worst sort of people. Like, anyone who can look at the horrid mess of Australian society as it presents itself to young people, and then go "I don't like it cause I'll be worse off." ...
