“offended” - is that the thing to avoid? I’m not offended lol. I just think it’s dumb and bad for all of us. Use the words you mean. If you mean them, then use them. If you don’t mean them, use something else. What is this weird hack job for no benefit? Self-censorship like this is utterly bizarre, when limitless even richer words are available. It’s bad for all of us.
