    @jorisw@mastodon.social @gruber@mastodon.social so for me (Nintendo paradigms might be different to Apple’s..) When the thing you are confirming is non destructive = Ok on right. When the thing you are confirming can be destructive = Cancel on right. In this case I’d argue what you are giving permissions to is potentially “bad” so I think it’s good UX to put Cancel on the right here. Logic is (again Nintendo paradigm) kids will click though stuff and if it’s destructive potentially make a bad choice.

    @jorisw@mastodon.social @gruber@mastodon.social to be fair I think there’s a modern idiom that *permissions* dialogs in particular should be deny by default so you don’t click through without reading. It’s not a common one though, and it deliberately subverts the rule, rather than just ignoring it
