I tried out Homey Self-Hosted Server! (... and switched to using a Homey Pro instead.)

This blog post took longer to write than initially anticipated, including having to fully rewrite the whole thing. Oops.
Hopefully it's at least an entertaining story!

@SteffoSpieler@fellies.social I went from a Homey Pro to HSH/Bridge. I run HSH on a Mac Mini M1 and it's been super-stable and very fast. The Mini was running anyway as Time Machine for my Macs, and uses about the same power as the Homey Pro. The Homey Pro was OK, but mine ran very hot, and I'm always worried about the eMMC on the CM4 wearing out. Interestingly, the Homey Bridge is just an ESP32 device in a fancy box, just as the Pro is a CM4 in one.
