@redthewizard@wandering.shop it does that, but I get the feeling that this density is more to do with clava style burial cairns which are sometimes surrounded by a circle of small megaliths but aren't the classical stone circle that we general associate with the term.

@postantiquarian@archaeo.social In the info I could find "clava style" referred to a number of monuments around inverness, but not in the area in the north east where that dense patch of polygons is.
