I was scrolling through the list of qr code tools in the repo and AUR, befuddled by the lack of any that can simply take a screenshot of a region and read a qr code ... until I found that spectacle automatically decodes QR codes and shows the text atop the preview when one is visible on a screenshot now. Thanks spectacle, now I don't have to make one myself.
