@fifonetworks@infosec.exchange as a team lead, I also had other managers outside my team asking me who was responsible for an outage (especially after a change gone wrong). They weren't happy with the "it's me as the team lead". So in my experience, the tendency to find a scapegoat can be something deeply rooted in a company's culture. Besides that: your "alarm or log" approach is great. I was waken up by too many false positives in my career.
