Recovering from my biopsy from last thursday.
It was supposed to be a painless, and relatively safe, procedure. When discussing the risks, we evoked arteriovenal fistulae. Doc said they do 2 biopsies per week in this unit, and they can't remember how many years they last saw one bad enough to require an intervention.
Well guess who won the fucking lottery.
But then, hilarious plot twist: my fistula might actually date back from the last biopsy, 20 years ago.
