@Serzedo@masto.pt @lokjo@mapstodon.space I did not know that, but thanks. I know trying to use maps on duck duck go is like trying to thread a needle wearing oven gloves. Hopefully this will be better. Maps are the one feature I have not been able to degoogle myself from.

@Iwillyeah@mastodon.ie @lokjo@mapstodon.space Magic Earth is also based on OSM and have a good approach to it, but the problem still comes with using the OSM maps and data. I'm all about privacy, but in the end, for driving I use Waze, for looking after places I go with a VNP to see Google Maps, their data is unmatched.
