I heard about this yesterday on Smerconish. It's a movement suggesting we should unsubscribe from several tech giants (which isnt exactly unpopular in some circles here) but not for our privacy, or their shady business practices, but rather because of their relations with #ice The idea is the if we can impact these companies bottom line, their leadership has the ear of the president, and they may influence him to change direction. I'm on the fence as to how effective this might be, but i decided its worth sharing here, for folks to decide for themselves. I called into the show after the interview, and suggested @pluralistic 's book. ;) Hoping it turns into an interview or something.
