@jake@social.jacobhaddon.com I'll bite -- I've never heard that the spelling variation means anything (my mild grapheme synesthesia leads me to see "gray" as lighter than "grey" but that's just me afaik). https://colorguide.org/en/grey says it's just Brit v American.

@ozdreaming@infosec.exchange @nycki@bark.lgbt I can’t explain it. But gray is cold and grey is warm in the color spectrum. Probably what happens when a poet learns to design websites. But yes. Really it is just a difference between Brit and US spelling.
