Finally, my server doesn't handle any of my data unencrypted, so it would be really nice to *not* have to sync an entire unencrypted copy of my Obsidian vault back to it to extract the notes I want to publish. I really like Joplin's model of generating a unique link per-note when it's published; it makes it functionally impossible to dig for content you weren't specifically given. I don't like that Digital Garden exposed the "path" of my notes when I published them, though I suppose that wouldn't be a complete deal-breaker.

An update after getting some replies: The Share Note plugin seems to be offering exactly the sort of thing I'm looking for, and provides a self-hosting option that'd let me lean on my existing Docker infra. I'll spend some time messing around with that later today or later in the week. Many thanks to all who replied!
