@judgedread@poa.st The only movies I watch are related to animu I'm already following, and I sometimes miss out on even those. I was totally out of the loop that the new Gundam is in theaters this week.

They've lost the ability to market to specific segments. Not that I would have gone, but I only found out there was an Imax preview for Mando & Grogu when Chris Gore mentioned it on Critical Drinker's stream. Of course fedi users are really checked out from the advertising space.
