@caitp@mstdn.social indeed - well, wood engravings. Given the fine level of detail, they are either large wood engravings (done on the end-grain) or they are engravings in metal. Of course, it’s “modern art” from the end of the 19th century... mostly engravings based on paintings shown in the main galleries in Europe at the time as far as i can tell.
