@foxylad@mastodon.nz Pretty sure Jones was seen as a lefty hippy type back in his Nga Tamatoa days. Also Tim Shadbolt, back in his geodesic dome fact finding world tour days. My eldest has cleaned up after any number of selfish grifting lefty hippies on the festival scene (I carefully haven't said "told you so") Centrepoint community was seen as a group of lefty hippies.
