@duxsco@fedifreu.de I'm sorry, I misunderstood your answer as "The problem was using Windows in the first place, don't use Windows, Windows bad". I don't like this kind of answer because it usually hides the real issue (NordVPN in this case).
I agree with you that NordVPN should not be used at all.

@alxhu@greifswald.lgbt yeah. I didn’t imply what to install after the removal of the old operating system. It depends on the needs. And, without knowing those, I don’t make statements in the direction of installing this or that operating system. I also don’t want to recommend reinstalling the old operating system. I get that people have to use Windows for reasons. For me, a system with NordVPN is tainted. And, its continued use or having NordVPN remnants lie around is like taking a s**t without wiping afterwards. I could do this, but I wouldn’t feel well.
