@montef@mastodon.social It's tough — I look back and regret tossing some things... but also realize if I didn't, I would've had more stress managing the things I didn't toss!
Going through that now with some of my AV gear (receiver, speakers, blu ray and DVD stuff...). Like I'm sure I'll regret getting rid of at least one of these things in a decade or two. But for now, better to have shelf space and peace of mind that it was taking up!

@geerlingguy@mastodon.social Surplus shelf space doesn’t get the love it deserves. I ripped all of my CDs/DVDs/Blu Ray/ discs to Plex and Jellyfin a few years ago; with the intent of getting rid of the optical media. The discs are still in boxes in a corner of the dining room. 😑 I’ll stop procrastinating; but not today. Maybe tomorrow. 🥺
