@gusseting@mastodon.social I don't know who built it but am fairly sure they did so solely to raise awareness. If they had nefarious goals, they would not wish to do this. The owner of every site we visit can do just the same as they have, many do. I do agree it would be good that they make a statement of some sort as to what they do with data they collect.
