@chfkch@ruhr.social @b0rk@social.jvns.ca What we really want is one single seamless binary that can useful without external tools. A built-in file tree explorer will help immensely. But the core dev can't support that on their own so it's being shifted over to the plugin side. IMO this is probably best for the early life of this project since different implementations can compete and inspire each-other until we have a really solid file picker to eventually build in to the editor.
