(Learned this when an SIM-less iPhone we used for testing in a European locale accidentally activated the emergency mode autodial. Thought it was fine since it dialed 112… ended up with a safety check from the local small town police department!)

In a real emergency, people type the number they know, and even if they theoretically know the correct number, in panic mode some people aren't able to remember
