Uh, re-read the post. Political news stories aren't banned here, they just have to have headlines that read like they're from *The Onion*. Lots of political posts here haven't been Onion-like at all. That's what's against the rules.

Okay, so, Onion-like and Onion-esque content is okay, as long as it's not The Onion. Good to know. I always prefer to ask people in the know aside from just reading the rules. Rules are a bit reductive, and there are so many interpretations. Thanks. But I still don't know if personal stories with no outside source are allowed. Like, things you read in a newspaper or watch on local news. That kind of thing. I can't really provide sourcess for those, since the media doesn't usually provide a source. And is this place for English-only stories or can I post translated/untranslated sources? Because believe me, all media is a circus, not just the media in English. It's multicultural.
